All Scouts must work with a registered Archdiocese of Miami Catholic Scouting Coordinator / Counselor.
Fees
Registration fees for emblem participants are:
- $25 for scouts in grades 1 – 5
- $50 for scouts in grades 6 – 12
Registration fees for scouts only attending the Day of Recollection or retreat are:
- $15 for scouts in grades 1 – 5
- $50 for scouts in grades 6 – 12
Payment can be made via Zelle to ADOMCatholicScouting@gmail.com.
- Day of Recollection attendance** is open to all cub scouts and girl scouts and is required for those participating in these emblems:
- Light of Christ
- Brother Francis Adan
- Parvuli Dei
- God is Love
- Mother Mary
- Family of God
- I Live My Faith
- Retreat attendance** is open to all girl scouts and scouts and is required for those participating in these emblems:
- My Faith and Promise
- Ad Altare Dei
- Pope Pius XII
- Archbishop McCarthy
- Marian Medal
- Spirit Alive
**Note: Adult participation is required for the Cub Scouts who study for the Light of Christ award in Grade 1 and encouraged for the families of scouts participating in the Day of Recollection. For the Retreat, you should sign up to attend as a parent only at the direction of your counselor.
Requirements
Before beginning the registration process, coordinators and counselors are to gather the following information for each of their emblem participants (depending on the age of the scout, some information might not be applicable):
- Counselor Name
- Parish Registration
- Parish for CCD
- Baptismal/Profession of Faith (date and parish)
- Reconciliation (date and parish)
- Holy Eucharist (date and parish)
- Confirmation (date and parish)
- Council or District Name
- Unit, Troop, Crew, Ship #
- Unit, Troop, Crew, Ship Leader
Note: A scanned copy of each scout’s baptism certificate is required for emblem participants. If you do not have access to a scanner, you can mail a copy of the baptism certificate separately.
